This is Diane's 10th book. Quite an accomplishment in itself. As if it weren't enough to have authored 10 books, each of Diane's books is a gem. This one is no exception.

There are two dozen varied projects in this book.

Want some fancy stringing? It's in here, check out page 15.

How about an elegant crystal necklace fit for a queen? Look on page 51.

Are you wanting to make a collection of little flower baskets to wear pined to your spring jacket? How about at least 9 variations to go with several jackets? Find these beginning on page 64.

Or maybe you think life is a bowl of cherries and you want something 3D to wear to prove it. Then the project beginning on page 31 is just for you.

Whatever style you may be looking for, elegant, whimsical or classic you should be able to find something that will become your favorite. Ok...maybe more than one. Fine, you got me...at least a dozen if not more. 

All projects are beautifully photographed. Directions are clearly illustrated.

Back From Hiding?

I would like to tell you that I have been up to my eyeballs in a beading frenzy.

But that's not true.

I would like to tell you I have been designing new exciting patterns that will blow you away.

That's not true either.

I would like to tell you that I went away to some exotic place on the spur of the moment.

I am not a good liar.

I would love to tell you that I have been so busy with things that just thrill me and take me away from the everyday stuff that I just had no time to be here, or even with my beads.

I am not a good story teller.

So what the hell have I been doing?

The Copyright thing I wrote about in the past few posts is still not resolved. I am hoping that it will be within a few days. If not, then I will need to step it up a notch. But at this time, I cannot tell you the progress, or lack thereof for reasons I might tell you later....

The while thing leaves me feeling really depressed.

Which is why I have gone into my cave. Hiding... I do not like to write when I am feeling badly about things. Sure, I write a lot of rants, but most are for the sake of entertainment, as they are exaggerated to some degree just for that. There is fun to be had in spouting off, and in making fun, in my evil manner of those things that make me twisted like a dreadlock.

Add to that...this so and so who wanted me to make a pattern for her. There were no specifics other than the subject and that it was to be an amulet. She said no matter what, she would be sure to love what I created. It turned out well. I was really pleased with the outcome. She even said she loved it. But decided not to buy it. Gee....like I have nothing better to do than make a pattern for someone for nothing? I am sorry, but I think that is FREAKING RUDE!!!

Ok...so not wanting to look at a bead, or create a design...or even write on this blog, I threw myself in the closet. Literally.

I have not attacked my closet in 2 years. I had a LOT of sorting out to do. It was sort of a physical cleansing to try to cleans my soul as well. Throw out the junk.  Dispose of the crap that weighs me down, know what I mean?

The good thing is that I rediscovered my "Skinny" clothes (not that I am ever skinny by any stretch of the imagination) and they FIT!! YAY!!! It was like going on a shopping spree and not spending a darn cent.

Hopefully I will get back into my usual positive (although tainted) spirit soon! I have had enough of the bullshit!
