I can't help but share these newspaper clippings as I nearly peed my pants laughing while reading these. The first one is from Texas. If you read my take on the immigration Laws in Arizona, you know that I think that is a HOOT!!!
And this one is from my sister who lives in the Florida Keys. This was in a local paper. Hmmmm.... since the threat of getting a check for minimum wage is still looming....maybe I should take the month off and apply.....

I like the clippings...LOL at the 2nd one. I know a couple people who would qualify for the position. I am surprised that the ad was actually published. Hmmm... Another fine example of the degradation of our society. Whatever happened to discretion?
ReplyDeleteIf you are truly seeking adventure, Sig, I say go for it!!!!

Oh I truly want adventure...but I would say somewhere fun..exotic...interesting not breaking someone's knee caps.
ReplyDeleteThe degradation I see in this ad is more with the deadbeats not paying their bills, and ripping off a business (likely a small one). I bet the ad is just a release of frustration and anger of being ripped off. I find it humorous.
The deadbeats...I feel he /she should get his/her just desserts!!
You make a very valid point. I wish more people would earn their keep in this country instead of scamming and living off the system.

Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments!
I have been "Around" for a long time...so I am not new...and I don't really lay a claim to being really talented. I have been beading for over 25 years, and have written (now out dated) several books and have over 2000 designs. See my website www.beadedbear.com
This Dragon robe is done in peyote stitch.
