It started raining last night, and it really came down hard today.
The rain was all they could talk about on the news. Ok, I should cut the newscasters some slack. It has been a rainless, warm winter here in central California. But do they really have to interview people on the street about their opinions about the rain?
"So, did you have a hard time finding your umbrella?"
Who the hell cares if someone in Sacramento had a hard time finding their umbrella? I would be more interested if they were asked if they could find a job.
"What do you think of today's rain?"
Well, it is wet. Just as wet as I remembered rain to be the last time it rained.
"How did today's rain change your plans?"
I got stopped in the street by a dumb reporter with nothing more newsworthy to report than a little water falling from the sky.
You would think that the reporters never saw rain and that they are trying to figure out what it was.
Now this would be a better take on reporting rain, don't you think?
It hasn't even loaded yet but I'm sure the song will be "It's Raining Men." Am I right???
ReplyDeleteOh yeah...GREAT song!!! Hadn't heard it for a long while. Thanks!
